Some little looks to INSPIRE! :3

So I thought I wouldn't do a tutorial because lets face it - I'm lazy, but I did end up creating some different looks over the weekend but of course, I was too lazy to post them because I'm lazy like that.

Did you know that I'm lazy? Well I am. Just incase you didn't catch it before haha.

This look isn't actually complex at all, in fact it's easy as pie. I just seemed to like the colour scheme of the light greens and the lilac. Those colours make me happy teehee.

Of course you could add more to a look like this but you can always keep it delicate to emphasize your Medoll's facial features and the colours of the make-up.

I used my own parlor.

I love this look. Very dark and dramatic, and the lips cry out to me as my favourite part. The darkness around the eyes makes them look evil (heheh) and I tried to keep in the theme in the deep purple colours.

I love the lips - in this scheme the lips look stunning with the deep lipstick which is a bit of a rare occurrence haha.

I love the hairstyle and the colours used in the eyeshadow. They are quite harmonious with each other and blend quite nicely. The hair, in contrast to the skin ton is awesome in my eyes, I love seeing light heir and a dark skin tone pulled off xD. The necklace is a nice little featur in there too.

I felt the need to rip off Jordyn1225's lashes and smudge some makeup on there xD. I love her gazillion eyelashes look xD.

This look is very simplistic and in all honestly, I could've added a lot more to it. I think I should have used a different shade of lipstick to harmonise with the eyes but oh well, you learn from mistakes haha.

Make-up Tutorial by Lizluz: #1

So here at The Life and Times of Stardoll, I've accepted the duties about everything there is to know about the Beauty Parlor. Today, I bring you a Make-up tutorial which I'm sure anybody would be able to do with of course trial and error.


Today, I'm going to do a tutorial on how to achieve this look:

Step 1:

So I've dyed my Medoll's hair a light lilac colour and I've changed her hair to a shorter style. This is so I can see all of the area around her eyes.

Step 2:

Apply White Liquid Eyeliner on the waterline of her eyes and into a sharp point at the ends. Notice I didn't apply the eyeliner along the lashline.

Step 3:

Apply Green Lengthening Mascara over all of the lashes and Green Volumising Mascara on the top lashes only.

Step 4:

Apply Purple Eyeshadow in small oval shapes above the eyelid. Try not to make the shape too large.

Step 5:

Add hints of Green Eyeshadow at the outer side of the eyelid.

Step 6:

This bit is a bit tricky, I just couldn't get it for a while xD.

Apply a darker blue Eye Pencil along the eyelid, so it overlaps the green and purple, kind of blending both of the colours together. Be careful you only get one or two layers of the blue as you don't really want it to stand out - you want it to blend the colours together.

Step 7:

Add Light Purple eye pencil on the inner eyelid, then overlap with white eyeshadow right in the corners so it fades to a whiter colour slightly in the corners.

Step 8:

Add a light pink lip colour (whichever of your choice) and apply Luxe lipgloss on top.

Step 9:

Add the blush of your choice. Make sure it is light in colour and you do not apply several layers. You don't want to have clown cheeks for this look.

I used a light pink blusher underneath and applied a rosier blusher on top to make the blusher more realistic.

Also add some white Kohl Liner on the inner corners of your eyes.

Step 10:

Chose a different hairstyle and accessories of your choice.

Tada~! You're done :3

Always try and use different colours to make your look different. Also try not to copy this look - instead, take ideas from it and make it your own :).

'Sup Homeskillets

So we've had a very serious and in-depth meeting *cough* and we are back, revamping the blog.

I hope we can all stick to what we've allocated ourselves to do so we can get this blog back on it's feet!

I'm allocated to the graphics (same as before) but now I'm doing make-up and cosmetics as well (which includes nails). I hope I'll be able to give you some practical ideas for make-up while giving you all a dose of some whacked out stuff xD. What? I enjoy being creative haha.

We might also be getting some new writers on the block to freshen this place up a bit ;). Be on the lookout!

I also wish a Happy Easter to all of you - I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Sorry I haven't been as active on here as I should be, I'm lazy and unreliable xD. I'm not totally sure if we need anything graphics-wise although I'm (hopefully) always open to do most things.
We're getting our school laptops this week which should be good. I know I can't go on Stardoll or Blogspot although it does give me the chance to make more posts and transfer them to my main computer which I can then post on. hopefully this will mean I will be posting more regularly on this blog and my main, I kind of miss posting lol.

Hi Everyone :)

Hii.

I'm Lizluz, or just Liz. I was invited to contribute to this blog by Steph and Clary, and I'm really happy to now be a part of it.
This is my first time as working on a blog with a team, up until now I've been flying solo on my own blog which I really enjoy posting on. I love to write and enjoy making graphic art, hence I'm the new Graphic Designer for the blog.
There should be a banner up soon, and I'll see if I can make some graphic to place above posts for each of the members :).

I've been on Stardoll for about 3 years and had a long break in between when I first joined and now. I have met some wonderful people, such as the people on this blog and a few other great friends I've made along the way.
